FAQs

Welcome, and thank you for choosing LoneStar Salon as your pampering destination.

In a appreciation to your stylist please give 24 hours notice for any cancelation in order to fill your spot. We understand that life happens, and emergencies come up, however, after your third non-emergency, no-show, or last minute cancelation, we do require payment of your missed appointment.

As much as all of us here at LoneStar love children, we are not exactly set up to accommodate them. If possible, we do ask that you find child care prior to your appointment
.

Return Policy:
We do exchange lightly used, purchased products if for some reason they aren't working for you, within 30 days of purchase. Our styling tools, however, are final sale*.

*If you have an allergic reaction to any of our products, we will gladly return them for you.
Massage FAQThis is YOUR session. Speak up!

Why is this so important? If you want anything changed: pressure, areas worked, position, or if you are too hot or too cold ... Don't hesitate to talk to your therapist.

You will not hurt the therapist's feelings by asking for something that will make you more comfortable. Your therapist wants this to be the best experience for you to relax and enjoy.

You will enjoy your sessions so much more!

Do I have to be completely undressed?
You should undress to the level you are comfortable. For a full body massage, most get completely undressed. However, if you will be more comfortable during the session if you leave your underwear on, that's fine! The therapist will work around the clothes you leave on as best as he/she can. If removing all your clothes makes you too nervous and unable to relax, then you are not getting the optimal benefit from the session. If you prefer to stay fully clothed, then we recommend you explore the many other types of bodywork that are performed clothed.

Do I have to cover myself with a sheet or towel?
This is known as draping, and depends on the therapist, and in some cases, the law. The vast majority of therapists will insist on draping. Once you are undressed and on the table under the drape, the therapist will only uncover the part of your body being worked on.

What do I do during a massage treatment?
Make yourself comfortable. If your therapist wants you to adjust your position, she/he will either move you or will ask you to move what is needed. Otherwise, change your position anytime to make yourself more comfortable. Many people close their eyes and relax completely during a session; others prefer to talk. It's up to you. It is your massage, and whatever feels natural to you is the best way to relax. Do not hesitate to ask questions at any time.

We hope you have a very relaxing experience!

Facial FAQWhat can I expect during a facial treatment?
When you arrive, you will be asked to fill out a consultation form. Most facials consist of a double cleanse with steam, exfoliation, extractions with a skin analysis, facial and upper body massage, facial mask, and hydration. Depending on the facial and your skincare history, the exfoliation performed will vary. Different facial "add-ons" can be added to your treatment for a small additional fee. All facials are uniquely customized to target your specific skincare needs.

Will my skin be red or irritated after my facial?
Slight redness is normal after a facial. Slight irritation may be experienced during these instances, however it should not continue after your facial treatment has been completed. Certain skin types, including those who tend to be more sensitive, may be prone to experiencing more redness post treatment.
