Carla has been doing hair for 34 years, decades of those being at Tortoise & the Hair Salon. She truly enjoys working with her clients and getting to know their personalities and hair types to satisfy their haircare desires. Colors, highlights, and cuts are Carla's passion in our industry.

Carla is Ouidad Certified, and Mizani aircut certified, specializing in curly hair techniques of all types. Educating clients on how to maintain their curls and it is important to Carla that every guest know how to work with their natural hair type and texture. Hundreds of guests have left her chair more confident with their hair needs. Since being licensed, Carla continues to take classes to stay current on the latest trends.
